Shannon and I will be traveling to Kenya after we get married, where Shannon will be using her gifts as a doctor. Here is a little something about what she is going to do while there:

I will be working at Tenwek Hospital, a famous medical missionary hospital located in the Rift Valley of Kenya. It serves a surrounding population of 6,000 people with medical care and most importantly spiritual care. While serving there, for my second time, from August 25-Sept 19th, I will be primarily working on the labor & delivery ward training to perform c-sections. I am learning this skill because it has the ability to save two lives. I will also work in the gynecology clinic and in the emergency room. The medical and spiritual need is great in many places in the United States, which is why I volunteer at free health clinics. This region of Kenya outside of Tenwek has a void of medical and spiritual health that is desperate for help. I can not ignore it. Thankfully, the hospital is one of the safest, well established, healthy humanitarian hospitals in the developing world.

I finally have all of the info posted on our wedding party. The things I have left: Proposal page, family page, pictures page, and perhaps a guestbook.

    Ch…Ch…Ch…Changes

Here is another good reason to check out the website: I am changing this thing willy-nilly. I am sure there are some designer friends of mine that are appalled at the layout/design/color-scheme. Hopefully, every time that I am able to work on the site, something new will pop up and surprise you. Be sure to check out the Event Map on the Accommodations page. I will stick it on the wedding details page as well. Have a great week!

    Slowly working on the site

Please forgive the messiness of the website.  I am changing things so that it is all flowing smoothly.
